MySQL MyAdmin Shortcut
Using table prefixes within my single designated database for niftygeek.com and a slew of others was a wise move. Unfortunately, this can leave a set of tables I'm working on pretty far down the list, and each time I have to edit the contents of one of these tables I have to scroll, find, and click.
So rather than do this each time, I created a bookmark folder in my menu bar of FireFox containing a series of shortcuts pointed directly to the tables within MyAdmin. I lose the ability to switch between tables (because I lose the left frame), but that doesn't bother me much, as each of my tables are conveniently located in the menu bar at the top of the browser.
Creating the shortcuts:
Depending on how I use the table the most (some might be for browsing, others for SQL statements), I use the link for the navigation tab at the top of each table page. See the picture below for the tabs I'm talking about.
Right clicking on any of these gives me the link I'm looking for. I copy the link location, then create a new shortcut in my new nifty folder located at the top of my browser.
Be careful not to get the link for your page from the page itself. If you do, the URL you're getting may actually be a command for MyAdmin to delete rows or request form data depending on your last action.
The end result for my energy drinks application looks like this:
